Pine Needles of a Christmas Tree I love the smell of a natural Christmas tree when I walk in the door. Water Lantern Festival Peering down to watch our lanterns float away.	Knucklehead Pumpkins I love specialty pumpkins. These have the interesting name Knucklehead. What would you name these if you had the chance?	Wheelbarrow of Squash I love the idea of collecting pumpkins in a wheelbarrow. It adds to the farm feel that the wheelbarrow is not pristine in the sense that it has pant chipping from it and smears of dirt across it.
Nemesis Coffee Shop What a beautiful piece of architecture. The metal shingles of this building are meant to portray an onion.	Capilano Suspension Bridge A plaque at the park read the bridge used to be made out of hemp. Imagine crossing that back in the day.	Curry in Vancouver, BC My wife and I ducked from building to building in the drizzling rain until we found a warm meal.
Breka Bakery and Café If I lived in Vancouver, British Columbia I would be her at least once a week. I had the Earl Grey Tea Doughnut previously and it was subtle and bold. Everything I needed. Creature of the Sea Green sea turtle that is chilling at Baldwin Beach Park in Pā'ia Maui.	Entering the Honolulu Zoo I have walked to the Honolulu Zoo more times than not. It is so close to the hotels, like three miles or so. It's a beautiful walk to get here.	Hippopotamus Statue I have been posing with this statue since I can remember. I don't know what started it. It was probably just a whim on my parent's part, but now it's a tradition I will pass down in my family.
The Juxtaposition of Actions The monkeys of the Honolulu Zoo thrust against the buildings in the background caused me to stop and think. What right do humans have to destroy other creatures environments?	Pollution in Beauty This is an example of pollution we can see, but what about the pollutants we can't? If we have difficulty controlling the large pollutants it's going to be difficult to control the small ones.	Purple Sea Star A Purple Sea Star hanging out.
Lion's Main Jelly The burst of color caught my wife's attention. It's amazing what can be found just a couple of feet off of your regular path.	It's a Car Stopper The grandest sunflower you will ever find. Knutson Farms in Sumner Washington.	Sunflower The details of macro photography never cease to amaze me. There are entire worlds to be explored.
1940's International Harvester Walking amongst the sunflowers to find this gem was a surprise.	The Perfect Shaved Ice It seems like a simple food to make, but it isn't. Crimson Red Perspectives sometimes need to change to find happiness. This was the case at the Kite Festival.	Bagels Enjoying a bagel at Curran Coffee. Their garlic cream cheese is heavenly.
